Welcome to Day Five of the Top 10 of 2104
A Week of Looking Back…
…and Looking Forward
As I mentioned…
This is my fourth year co-hosting this event with Jaime of Two Chicks on Books and my third year co-hosting with Mindy of Magical Urban Fantasy Reads. But this year I’m hosting it on my new blog and we have a new co-host joining us – Nancy of Tales of a Ravenous Reader.
If you haven’t yet heard of our Top 10 of 2014 week-long event, in a nutshell it’s where we share our favorite bookish lists and invite you to share yours over the next five days by leaving your post links in the daily Linky Lists.
This year we’re each hosting our own giveaways on four of the five days of this challenge – so be sure to check out Two Chicks on Books for Day One’s giveaway, my blog for Day Two’s giveaway, Magical Urban Fantasy Reads for Day Three’s giveaway and Tales of a Ravenous Reader for Day Five’s giveaway.
If you haven’t signed up yet, it’s almost not too late. Just check out the Sign-up Post for details. But there are a few more days for you to write your post and leave your links before all the Linky Lists close.
Today’s topic is:
Books I’m Looking Forward to in 2015
I am looking forward to way more than ten books in 2015. A few of which I’ve read, a few I own and am dying to read, a few I am anxiously awaiting.
My original list has over 50 books on it. I managed to narrow it down to 20 without crying too much. But I couldn’t reduce the number to just 10 books and 3 honorable mentions and so I upped the number of honorable mentions to 5.
Though those five adds really should be in my top ten.
#1 THE STARS NEVER RISE by Rachel Vincent
Why? Because this book is so incredibly amazing. Because I want everyone to read it and I want to talk to everyone about it.

#2 DEAD OF WINTER by Kresley Cole
Why? Because I’ve been dying to read this forever. Because I love Death and Jack. And while I don’t want this series to end, I have to know what’s going to happen next.
AMAZON | BARNES & NOBLE | GOODREADS
#3 UNTITLED (Firebird #2) by Claudia Gray
Why? Because I am dying to see what new worlds we’ll get to visit. I’m dying to find out what happens with Paul and Marguerite.
#4 ICE LIKE FIRE by Sara Raasch
Why? Because I want to see where this story goes, who Meira will be able to help, and whether I’ll be able to choose a team.
#5 UNTITLED (Zodiac #2) by Romina Russell
Why? Because I want to explore new worlds, I want to see if a certain thing that happened really happened.

#6 TRAIL OF TEARS by Josephine Angelini
Why? Because I am desperate to find out what happens with Lily and Rowan after what happened right there at the end.
#7 THE WINNER’S CRIME by Marie Rutkoski
Why? Oh because that ending was heartbreaking and I can’t wait to see where things lead and I’m hopeful that they will lead back.

#8 UNTITLED (Defy #3) by Sara B. Larson
Why? Because that ending. Ohmygosh that ending. How could it end the way it did with all the secrets.
Not yet linkable online.
#9 UNLEASHED by Sophie Jordan
Why? Because I loved the first book in the series. There was so much to think about and I can’t wait to see what new food for thought this sequel will have.

#10 THE WONDROUS AND THE WICKED by Page Morgan
